RULES OF CONDUCT
Our employees are expected to abide by laws and regulations as well as other commonly accepted standards of business and personal conduct while at work or engaged in activities that may affect work safety or job performance. These standards include honesty, integrity, and mutual respect for fellow employees, supervisors, and customers. Employees are expected to observe and comply with all policies and performance standards that may be established by Sandria.
Violation of laws, general work standards, or Agency policies may result in discipline up to and including termination, depending on the circumstances involved. Listed below are examples of actions that may result in discipline or discharge. The examples are not all-inclusive and do not reflect every circumstance that may result in discipline or discharge. They are intended as general guidance regarding Agency standards and expectations.
Examples of Prohibited Conduct:

Dishonesty in any form, including falsification of documents or providing misleading information.

Theft, unauthorized possession of property belonging to Sandria or other employees.

Unauthorized possession or use of Foundation belonging to Sandria or other employees.

Damage, loss, or destruction of property belonging to Sandria or other employees due ti willful, reckless, careless, or negligent acts.

Being under the influence of, possessing, or using illegal drugs or alcohol while on duty.

Insubordination, failure to perform assigned work, or neglect of duties.

Poor performance of work duties, failure to meet job requirements or standards, or lack of when performing assigned duties.

Sleeping, loafing, or malingering on the job.

Unexcused or excessive absenteeism or tardiness.

Failure to work courteously and harmoniously with other employees, partner agencies, customers, or people doing business with Sandria.

Fighting, horseplay, or disorderly conduct.

Threatening, harassing, intimidating or coercing others, or interfering with the performance of others.

Using profane, obscene, or other abusive language.

Other conduct that may conflict with or adversely affect work performance, safety, business operations, or Sandria's reputation in the community.
Rules of Conduct are strictly enforced and outlined in the Sandria Foster Care Agency Employee Guide that is presented to all employees for training and transparency.
